Ruby DuBay began her EHS career with Clark Construction, a large vertical contractor, in the Washington, DC/Virginia area, as well as several years’ as a Risk Management Consultant, working for IWIF of Maryland.
In 2007, after relocating to North Carolina, she joined Blythe Construction, as a Field Safety Engineer. In her 12 years with the group, she has taken on additional responsibilities in the area of Human Resources, developing into her current leadership role as Director of Environmental, Health, and Human Resources, for the Eurovia USA Group. In 2019, DuBay was recognized as one of the Charlotte Business Journal’s “Women in Business,” in part for her central role in the Lane Plants & Paving acquisition, which took place the previous year. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, DuBay holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and is a member of several boards including the Carolinas AGC.
