After graduating from Liverpool John Moores University, Brian Webb began his career in the construction industry as a Field Superintendent with one of northwest England’s major contracting firms.
Following a move to the US, he joined Hubbard Construction in Orlando Florida in 1989 before moving to Blythe Construction in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1999. Brian has held operational management roles his entire career. While at Blythe Construction, he has managed award-winning projects including the I-85 widening projects in Mecklenburg and Rowan Counties, the final section of Charlotte’s I-485 Outer Loop, the Salem Creek Connector, and others. Under Webb’s leadership, Blythe teams have successfully completed many of the largest DOT contracts in NC and SC history, and have established the company’s reputation as the Southeast’s leading heavy civil contractor.
